Punjab Releases Exam Schedule for Class One to Eight

The Punjab government has announced the examination schedule for the students of class one to eight. Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the exams will take in phases to avoid the spread.

According to the schedule, the exams for the students of class one to eight will be held in the last week of May.

The exam paper will consist of 25 short questions for 50 marks, with each question carrying equal marks against a one-hour time duration.

The students of grades one and two will be exempted from this pattern, as their exams will be conducted orally instead of written papers. Punjab Education Minister, Dr. Murad Raas, in a recent press conference, assured that the Punjab government was making all-out efforts to facilitate the school-going children amid the pandemic. Moreover, the Punjab education department has also announced tentative dates for matriculation examinations, which may begin from 31 May 2021. Meanwhile, the federal education department has announced exams for grade nine and matric from 20 May.
