International Centre of Excellence holds its 1st Advisory Board Meeting

The International Centre of Excellence (ICE) marked a significant milestone with its first-ever Advisory Board meeting. This momentous meeting marked the coming together of our Board of Directors & alongside with esteemed Senior Management Team, featuring Dr. Graham Spickett-Jones, Dean ICE. Ms. Sumbal Manzoor, Head of Centre, & Dr. Ali Raza Nemati, Group Director HR.

This remarkable meeting welcomed esteemed Advisory Board Members from various sectors, including Mr Amjad Iqbal(Group VP Business Growth Partners-PTCL Group), Qazi Azmat Isa (Development Sector Professional & Valued Advisor), Mr Dilawar Khan(Co-Founder & ED- CLLB), Mr Badar Khushnood (Cofounder Fishry.com), Ms Fakiha Imran(Management Consultant/ Executive Coach), Muhammad Ahmed (President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry), Mr Zeshan Afzal(Chairman Cardoba logistics and Ventures Limited), Mr Sheikh Omer (ED Toyota Ravi Motors), Major (Retired) Riaz Muhammad(Director Operations Stanley Pharmaceutical Pvt ltd and Foods pvt ltd) Mr Amir Jahangir(Founder & CEO at Mishal Pakistan, Mr Salim Ghauri (CEO & Founder Netsol Technologies ltd, Mr Azam Jamil ( Sr Consultant Franklin Covey), and Ms Sidra Iqbal( Journalist & Infopreneur) underscoring the significance and reach of ICE’s initiatives.

The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to thoroughly assess ICE’s programme offerings, their scope, mission, and vision, as well as to reflect on the significant milestones attained and the way forward. Advisory Board (AB) Members engaged in discussions about the institute’s educational strategies, seeking ways for further growth and enhancement. They also expressed their thoughts regarding the skill development of Pakistani youth, emphasising the importance of fostering a problem-solving mindset. The placement of students in suitable positions was highlighted, along with the critical need for practical technology and IT utilisation.

The AB members, with their diverse backgrounds and deep skills, offered great insights, constructive opinions, and forward-thinking proposals. Their contributions will influence ICE’s educational landscape, encouraging growth and innovation.
