In a progressive step towards enhancing education and professional growth, the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a prominent dairy feed company. The agreement aims to provide UVAS students with hands-on training and internships while fostering community-focused initiatives.
The MoU was formalized during a ceremony at University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) City Campus, with UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus and the company’s Chairman, Javid Iqbal, leading the signing. Through this partnership, students will gain practical exposure in the dairy and veterinary fields, and UVAS will extend its expertise by conducting training sessions for farmers, equipping them with modern skills in agriculture and livestock management.
Additionally, both entities will join forces to organize educational school visits, aiming to inspire young minds to explore veterinary sciences. They will also conduct health camps, offering deworming, vaccinations, and treatments to improve livestock well-being, emphasizing disease prevention and animal welfare.
This collaboration underscores a shared commitment to advancing education and uplifting agricultural practices for a sustainable future.
