The University of Home Economics (UHE) has achieved a remarkable milestone as UHE wins declamation contests in the regional round of the All-Pakistan Declamation Competition organised by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. The prestigious event was hosted at Punjab University and brought together top student speakers from institutions across the province.

In a highly competitive atmosphere, UHE students showcased exceptional eloquence, clinching first place in the HEC Urdu Speech Competition. This outstanding achievement earned the university the team trophy and a cash prize of Rs100,000, underlining the oratory strength and academic confidence of its students.

The winning team featured Tanzeel ul-Noor (Dept of Interior Design), Areeba Amjad (Dept of Food and Nutrition Sciences), and Rameen Tariq (Dept of English), whose persuasive and articulate speeches impressed both the audience and judges.
