KMU hosts national kickoff of Hult Prize 2025 with 80+ university teams

The prestigious Hult Prize KMU 2025 launch marked the official commencement of Pakistan’s national-level competitions at Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar. This globally recognized event has attracted over 300 students, forming 80 dynamic teams from universities across the country, as they compete for a coveted spot in the international finals.

At the conclusion of the competitions, six top-performing teams will be selected to represent Pakistan at the Hult Prize Global Finals—where the ultimate winning team will receive a transformative prize of One Million USD. The Hult Prize KMU 2025 launch was celebrated with an inspiring opening ceremony featuring keynote addresses by Dr Zohaib Khan, Director ORIC at KMU, and Dr Fazal Subhan, National Director of Hult Prize Pakistan.

Both leaders shared insights into the competition’s objectives, structure, and its power to fuel youth-driven entrepreneurial and social innovation. Dr Zohaib Khan stated, “Competitions like the Hult Prize not only provide our youth with a platform to showcase their talents but also inspire them to create sustainable solutions to real-world socio-economic challenges.”

He emphasized the importance of hosting this mega event in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, adding that it is a source of great pride for KMU. He also described the event as a strong motivator for Pakistani youth, helping them scale their creativity to an international platform.

Dr Fazal Subhan remarked, “The Hult Prize offers students worldwide the opportunity to address critical global issues through entrepreneurship, creating scalable impact and meaningful change.”
