The National University of Sciences & Technology , COMSTECH & SIEF China co-host green innovation climate partnership summit at the NUST main campus. The summit convened Chinese and Pakistani experts, researchers, and entrepreneurs, marking a major milestone in advancing shared goals for a sustainable and resilient future.
In his welcome address, Dr Rizwan Riaz, Pro-Rector for Research, Innovation & Commercialisation (RIC-NUST), presented a detailed overview of NUST’s intellectual capital and its research and innovation ecosystem. He highlighted the university’s focus on sustainable development, citing current collaborations with Chinese academia and industries. Dr Riaz emphasised the importance of deepening the green innovation climate partnership summit to drive forward clean technologies and low-carbon growth.
Keynote speaker Prof Dr Huanzheng Du spoke on ‘Catalyst for Economic Growth,’ stressing that green technologies are reshaping global economic paradigms. Academician Xiong Jian also delivered a notable talk on ‘Net-Zero Carbon Building Technologies,’ underlining emerging energy solutions for a more climate-resilient future. The summit not only encouraged cross-border collaboration but further cemented the role of the green innovation climate partnership summit as a platform for sustainable progress.
