Faisalabad: Awareness Session on Anti-Drug Awareness Seminar was held at The University of Faisalabad. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed at The University of Faisalabad and Drug Advisory Hub to save the youth Done.
An Awareness Seminar was organized at The University of Faisalabad Amin Campus with the special guest Commissioner Faisalabad Zahid Hussain on the mission of saving young generation, students from drug addiction. Chairman Board of Governors Haider Amin, Additional Deputy Registrar Madam Zahida, Syed Zulfiqar Hussain, Head of Drug Advisory Training Hub, an anti-drug campaign organization including University faculty, along with his team participated. Commissioner Faisalabad Talked to the students.
Syed Zulfiqar Hussain, Consultant Anti-Drug Campaign, gave a lecture on the evils caused by drugs, the rate of trend and its triggers. He also described the steps taken by his organization.
Participants were briefed on anti-drug seminars, awareness campaign and other initiatives conducted at the university. Stakeholders appreciated the efforts of the university. The university administration reiterated its commitment to save the young generation from evil like drugs.
On this occasion, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the university and the Drug Advisory Training Hub three years ago and the agreement was renewed. Students benefited from the awareness program.
Commissioner Faisalabad along with Chairman Board of Governors Haider Amin and guests planted trees at University Sports Ground under the Prime Minister’s Tree Planting Campaign and prayers were also offered.
