Quetta All the educational institutes have been shut down, examinations barred and sizeable contingent of security forces stationed in Quetta after a trouble alert was issued for 48 hours.
A announcement issued by the University of Balochistan read that it would remain close for two days, viewing the trouble alert.
All the security help have been summoned to their posts and their leaves have been cancelled. Whereas, battalions have also been stationed at different locales. The government has asked people to avoid going to stores and other crowded places for two days.
Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE) Speaker Sadia Farooqi said all the seminaries would remain close for two days and also matric examinations would not be held on Thursday and Friday in Quetta.
Still, she said examinations in all the other sections would be held as usual. She said date for the cancelled examinations would be blazoned latterly
