The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), in partnership with Nomad Gallery, unveiled a captivating contemporary art exhibition “And Still I Rise” on November 20, 2024. The event, hosted at the prestigious Grand Hall and Gallery No. 3 of the National Art Gallery in Islamabad, celebrates the themes of resilience, empowerment, and the boundless power of creativity.
The exhibition was formally inaugurated by Ms. Nicole Guihot, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Australian High Commission, alongside PNCA’s Director General, M. Ayoub Jamali. The launch event drew a distinguished gathering of artists, art enthusiasts, and esteemed guests from diverse fields.
The exhibition showcases an eclectic collection of works by some of the most talented and renowned artists, including Ahmed Habib, Akram Dost Baloch, Ayesha Siddiqui, Hifza Khan, Kamal Hyat, Kulsoom Iftikhar, Maham Imran, Rakshanda Atawar, Rukhe Neelofar Zaidi, Samia Aslam, Samia Saad, Samina A. Akhtar, and Ubaid Syed.
Open to the public until November 25, 2024, the art exhibition “And Still I Rise” invites visitors to immerse themselves in a rich tapestry of artistic expressions. The galleries are accessible daily from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, except on Saturdays when they remain closed.
