Pakistan and China are set to enhance their collaboration in vocational education, particularly in the field of energy-saving and new energy vehicles. This partnership aims to equip Pakistani youth with cutting-edge skills and knowledge in emerging technologies, benefiting both nations in the long term.
Mehr Shahid Zaman Lak, Chief Operating Officer of the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA), highlighted the importance of this collaboration in advancing vocational education, noting that Pakistani students will gain access to China’s technological advancements. This initiative is expected to boost the skills of the workforce, contributing to the development of both Pakistan and China.
The official launch of this collaboration took place during a seminar on “Developing International Teaching Resources in Energy-saving and New Energy Vehicles,” held at Hunan Automotive Engineering Vocational University. The event was attended by nearly 100 officials and enterprise leaders from both countries, marking the beginning of the international teaching resource project under the China-Pakistan Digital Education Alliance.
This initiative is a significant step forward in promoting sustainable energy solutions and creating a skilled workforce capable of addressing future challenges in the automotive sector. Through this partnership, both nations aim to foster innovation, create job opportunities, and build a bridge for knowledge exchange in the rapidly evolving field of new energy technologies.
