Creative Showcase: Students displayed unique handcrafted projects and designs.

An inspiring exhibition held at FG Home Economics & Management Sciences in Islamabad presented a diverse collection of innovative designs, handcrafted projects, and artistic masterpieces created by the institute’s students.

The event was officially opened by the distinguished Chief Guest, Sayyed Ahmed Masood, Project Director of the National Incubation Center Islamabad.

Students from the Department of Interior and Environmental Design, including Maheen Maryam, Zaynab Raza, Rabeah binte Tariq, and Manal Ahmed, captivated the audience with their extraordinary furniture creations, featuring intricately carved wood, a blend of metal and processed wood, and detailed architectural models. The visitors were impressed by the fine craftsmanship and the thoughtful design behind each piece.

The Department of Textiles and Fashion Designing also stood out with its vibrant collection of tie-and-dye and block-printed silk and cotton fabrics. The audience admired the striking thread embroidery patterns on delicate tapestries, showcasing the students’ mastery of traditional techniques.

Art lovers were equally thrilled by the collection of paintings, sketches, and graphic designs presented by the Department of Art and Design. Each work reflected the students’ passion, skill, and dedication.

Principal Rozina Faheem, speaking at the exhibition’s closing ceremony, emphasized that the event at FG Home Economics & Management Sciences provided a valuable platform to showcase the remarkable talent and creativity of the students.
