The recent reshuffling of staff and top-level appointments has triggered dissatisfaction across FG institutions, with many asserting that FG teachers face marginalisation in the current administrative structure.
Central to their frustration is the appointment of Shahid Mahmood Abbasi, a principal from the model college system, as Director (Colleges) at FDE. This role oversees both model and FG colleges, yet FG educators argue that his background does not equip him to understand their specific challenges. They believe that FG teachers face marginalisation when leadership positions are assigned without balanced representation from both sectors.
