The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced the third phase of the Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program for aspirants from Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
How to Apply/Last Date
Interested candidates may apply online by logging into the HEC’s official website: research.hec.gov.pk. April 15, 2021, is the deadline for the submission of applications.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the program is as follows:
Ph.D. degree holder from HEC recognized local or international university, not more than 45 years of age.
Minimum of five years’ work experience in Pakistan after obtaining a foreign Ph.D. degree.
Local Ph.D. degree holders can apply immediately after Ph.D.
Must be an employee of public/private sector HEC recognized university/DAI or public sector R&D organization.
Must not have availed any post-doc fellowship before.
Must have acquired requisite academic qualification on or before the closing date.
Must have a placement/acceptance letter from the top 200 QS World Ranking universities/research institutes from a relevant supervisor along with a detailed CV of the host supervisor.
Evaluation Process
Relevant active researchers with expertise in the field will assess the submitted applications. HEC has clear guidelines for the assessment of the work, which will be of high quality and conducted in an objective, impartial and transparent manner.
