The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) and the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) General Hospital have entered into a landmark partnership, solidified through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The MoU, signed at a ceremony held at the NUST Main Office, marks a pivotal step towards fostering cooperation in education, healthcare, and research. Representatives from both institutions attended the event, which highlighted the shared vision of enhancing healthcare standards and promoting scientific innovation.
Dr. Raja Ali Raza Anwar, Chairman PAEC, lauded NUST’s remarkable contributions to academia and its forward-thinking initiatives, particularly the establishment of the NUST School of Health Sciences (NSHS). He emphasized the significance of the collaboration in achieving collective goals that benefit the nation.
The formal agreement was signed by Dr. Abdul Majeed, Director of PAEC General Hospital, and Professor Dr. Rizwan Ashraf, Principal of NSHS. Key areas of focus include joint research projects, professional development opportunities, and faculty and student exchange programs to encourage both knowledge sharing and cultural integration.
Rector NUST, Engr. Javed Mahmood Bukhari, expressed his gratitude to the PAEC delegation and underscored the critical role such partnerships play in driving national progress.
