The Punjab Department of Literacy & Non-Formal Basic Education took a significant step by launching Elementary and Middle Tech Education in non-formal schools on Tuesday. During the ceremony, Secretary Literacy Syed Haider Iqbal and Director General Dr. Khurram Shahzad highlighted the swift development of the technical education syllabus, made possible with the collaboration of JICA.
Secretary Punjab Department of Literacy announced the provision of tablets and smartphones to non-formal schools, enhancing the learning process through a literacy app. He emphasized the ongoing efforts to tackle the challenge of adult literacy, which remains a critical priority.
