RMI Holds Festival Celebrating Literary and Culture

The Literary Society of Rehman Medical College (RMI) on Wednesday hosted a vibrant national literary festival celebrating literary and culture, aimed at promoting Pakistan’s diverse heritage, social values, and literary creativity. The event brought together students, faculty, and guests to explore the richness of traditions, regional narratives, and artistic expression.

The campus was transformed into a colourful and energetic hub, with stalls representing various provinces, traditional performances, and artistic displays reflecting Pakistan’s multicultural identity. Attendees were seen in ethnic attire, enjoying folk music, poetry recitations, cultural games, and local delicacies — all reinforcing the theme of celebrating literary and culture across regions.

The event was graced by the presence of RMC Principal Prof Dr Mukhtiar Zaman, Vice Principal Muhammad Aslam Qamar, and Director Rehman Medical Institute Zeba Rehman, who appreciated the initiative of the Literary Society in fostering unity through diversity and celebrating literary and culture in an academic setting. They lauded the students’ enthusiasm and stressed the importance of such events in broadening perspectives and strengthening cultural roots.
