Supporting Quality and Safe Education: Parliamentary Secretary’s Visit to PEIRA

On December 27, Ms. Farah Naz Akbar, Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, visited the Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) to receive a comprehensive briefing from Chairperson Dr. Sayeda Zia Batool on the authority’s recent reforms and initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality and regulation of private educational institutions.

During the visit, Ms. Akbar lauded Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA’s) efforts and suggested the establishment of dedicated Health Corners across all private educational institutions. These health corners would provide first aid, emergency support, and a resting space for both students and staff.

Ms. Farah Naz Akbar reaffirmed her unwavering support for PEIRA’s initiatives, stressing the need for a safe, inclusive, and student-friendly environment in every private educational institution within the Islamabad Capital Territory. PEIRA reaffirmed its commitment to implementing these reforms with professionalism and dedication, aiming to create an improved educational experience for all.
