UVAS and Longer Jinhua unite for goat breeding research

The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) marked a significant milestone as Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. M. Younus and Dean of Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof. Dr. Aneela Zameer Durrani virtually signed an MoU with representatives from Longer Jinhua Industrial, including Chairman Mr. Pan Boiliang, Ma Ying, Ahmad Ma, and Cai Chengxiang.

The MoU paves the way for collaborative scientific research focusing on efficient goat breeding. The partnership aims to explore techniques like follicle-stimulating development using immunosuppressants, improving breeding performance in single-ovulating goats, and studying the molecular mechanisms driving follicle development through immunosuppressant application.

In a separate event, the UVAS Senior Tutor Office and Debating Society celebrated Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s contributions by hosting a cake-cutting ceremony. The tribute honored Jinnah’s monumental efforts in securing Pakistan and served as a reminder of his legacy.
