UVAS and Teesside UK: Pioneering research and educational excellence together!

The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore, has officially entered into a strategic partnership with Teesside University UK, a prominent public research institution with campuses in Middlesbrough and London. The collaboration was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aiming to strengthen academic and research ties between the two prestigious universities.

The signing ceremony took place at  University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) City Campus, with Vice-Chancellor Meritorious Prof Dr. Muhammad Younus (DLA.I, TI) and Prof Dr. Aneela Zameer Durrani, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Science, representing UVAS. On the other side, Syed Abidi, Regional Director for Teesside University Pakistan and MENA, signed the MoU, marking a new chapter in the universities’ partnership.

During the event, Prof Dr. Muhammad Younus shared UVAS’s ongoing academic achievements, research breakthroughs, and the importance of global collaborations in advancing education. He emphasized the significance of such international partnerships in enriching academic resources, enhancing capacity building, and promoting knowledge sharing.

In his remarks, Syed Abidi emphasized how the partnership would facilitate knowledge exchange, innovative research, and skill development.
